We didn't set out to start a business. We set out to find something better.

Like a lot of parents, we watched our kids reach for a screen every time they had a free moment. And for a while, we handed it over without thinking twice, there's educational apps, right? It counts, right?

But something didn't sit right with us. We'd see our kids lose patience the moment things got hard, struggle to hold a pencil, and zone out in ways that didn't look much like learning. We started wondering whether what was happening on those screens was really learning at all, or just entertainment wearing a different outfit.

We wanted something our kids could hold, touch, and actually work through. Something that built real skills without the glow of a screen in their faces.

The problem was, most of what we found was either boring, flimsy, or used up in a week.

So we built Siekho.

Siekho means to learn, and that's exactly what this store is built around. Every product we carry is chosen with one question in mind: does this genuinely help a child develop, or does it just keep them occupied? We're not interested in the second one.

We spent time talking to teachers, digging into child development research, and testing everything on our own kids, ages 5 and 8, the world's most brutally honest critics.

We're not educators. We're not a big company. We're parents who found a better way and wanted to share it.
